EN8 / 080M40 Steel Bar – Low Carbon Engineering Steel
EN8, also known as 080M40, is a low carbon, hardenable engineering steel with higher strength than bright mild steel. It is widely used in general engineering applications where durability and machinability are important.
At BSS, we supply EN8 steel bars in black as-rolled condition, making them suitable for machining or further heat treatment to meet specific component requirements.
