CS80 Carbon Spring Steel - High Strength Spring Steel

CS80 Carbon Spring Steel is a high-carbon spring steel grade defined within BS1449.
It is closely equivalent to C75S, AISI/SAE 1075, and closely matches EN42.

Known for its strength, wear resistance, and resilience, CS80 is widely used in the manufacture of flat springs, knives, and industrial blades. Historically difficult to cut, modern laser and water jet cutting methods now make CS80 much easier to process, driving its popularity across engineering and manufacturing sectors.
