EN9 Carbon Steel - Medium Carbon Engineering Steel

EN9 carbon steel, also known as 070M55, is a medium carbon steel with a carbon content of 0.50–0.60%. It offers a high tensile strength of up to 700 N/mm², good wear resistance, and is ideal for general engineering and tooling applications.

EN9 steel is supplied by BSS in flat bar form, available in full lengths or cut to customer requirements, making it highly versatile for industrial and machining applications.

Manganese – 0.5 to 0.8%
