M2 High Speed Steel

M2 steel (otherwise W6Mo5Cr4V2 or the same as 1.3343) is a high speed steel in tungsten-molybdenum series.

M2 high-speed steel (HSS) is a powerhouse alloy widely used in cutting tools and industrial applications due to its exceptional balance of hardness, toughness, and heat resistance. M2 is the go-to choice when precision, durability, and heat resistance are essential. If you’re working with high-speed cutting or forming tools, M2 is going to be on your radar.
